This is a highly significant Morning Star Pole that was used in public by both the Elcho Island dancers in Sydney during an exhibition of Morning Star poles as well as Djalu Gurruwiwi and his family for the Rripangu Festival in Germany 2002.

This beautifully decorated piece was made by Djalu's classificatory father (ie. father's brother) Gali Yalkarriwuy Gurruwiwi at Elcho Island.
