A unique and highly collectable bark painting by the eminent artist Lily Karedada (Karadada).

Bought direct from Lily by a lady flying doctor during the 1970s.

We asked an art colleague close to Lily Karadada if Lily would kindly authenticate this piece by holding up a photograph of her work. This was done in 2006.

Pieces from this period are quite rare and hard to come by nowdays as Lily didn't use fixatives at that time as can be seen by the interesting flaking which gives the piece immense character! You can see from the rear image that this bark is in excellent condition.
