Mago

A Mago is the term for an Aboriginal didgeridoo used by the clans of Western and North Central Arnhem Land and areas west and south west of Darwin in Australia's Top End. Typically, a mago is more cylindrical in shape than a yidaki, it has rich harmonics and the toot is not often played.

We always have a very large collection of new and vintage magos in stock, please contact us for our current selection!

Finding the perfect instrument is a very personal experience, buying online with images and sound files alone is never the same as putting the instrument to your lips and dancing your own journey... So call us & try before you buy! We have the biggest and best selection of high quality traditional Aboriginal instruments outside of Australia!
