Frank Thill crafted & Gurruwiwi decorated Didgeridoo.
We bought this from the private collection of a customer, which he collected direct from Frank Thill in 2000 in Darwin.
An outstanding didgeridoo, where Frank's approach in making this instrument was to ensure that it reflected all the qualities of a traditional playing yidaki with just a touch of Frank's own individual styling. It has great back pressure which enables the seasoned pro or novice player to get the most out of their playing.
Used extensively by Djalu Gurruwiwi during his 2009 London Yidaki workshops! Hours of footage available.
